The live streaming management feature is one of the important modules of the LOL Online Learning Platform, designed specifically for faculty and staff. It provides a comprehensive online live teaching management interface. This function supports creating, editing, managing, and setting viewing permissions for live streaming events, and integrates roll call, chatroom interaction, and live record analysis functions to effectively help teachers control teaching progress and increase student participation.
Click “Add Live Streaming”
Enter the following information:
Click “Save” to complete creation
Admin Area > Live Streaming Management
Centralized management of all created live streaming events, including ended, ongoing, or upcoming scheduled events.
Enter keywords to search for live streaming event titles.
Dropdown menu used to filter live streaming events belonging to specific classes.
Dropdown menu used to filter different live streaming statuses. Options include: All
, Live Started
, Live Ended
, Ended/Suspended

A magnifying glass icon button used to perform the search.
Create a new live streaming event.
Edit the selected live streaming event.
Delete the selected live streaming event.
Batch management is provided for the selected live streaming events in the list below.
A table details each live streaming event’s information and status.
Displays the cover or preview image for the live streaming event.
The event name of the live streaming.
Displays which class the live streaming belongs to.
Scheduled or actual start time of the live streaming.
Scheduled or actual end time of the live streaming. If the event has ended, an "Ended" label will appear below the time.
Displays the status of the live streaming (published or hidden) with an icon.
Shows the roll call statistics, with two numbers representing Checked-in
and Expected to Check-in
counts. A “Details” button below allows viewing of the detailed roll call list.
Enters the backend chatroom dedicated to the live streaming, allowing staff or teachers to monitor student interaction.
Click to view the detailed learning record report of all students for the live streaming event.
Admin Area > Live Streaming Management > Add / Edit
Staff can create or edit the detailed information for a live streaming event, including title, streaming source, cover image, viewing permission, and schedule.
Enter the event name for the live streaming, with a *limited to 20 characters
note.
Set the status for the live streaming, options are “Published” or “Disabled”. If published, the streaming will continue to be published on the platform after it ends.
Enter the name of the main instructor for the live streaming event.
Used to specify the source of the live streaming, with a note below: EX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<XXXXX> OR :https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=<XXXXX>
, indicating the system supports embedding YouTube or Facebook live videos. Staff only need to paste the corresponding live streaming URL here.
Used to upload the cover or preview image for the live streaming event, which will be displayed in the live streaming list.
Note: Resolution 640x480, size <300k, recommended image size and file size limit are indicated.
Toggle switch used to control whether to open the chatroom feature for students to interact during the live streaming.
Used to set who can see and participate in the live streaming.
Provides a date and time picker so staff can precisely set the start time for the live streaming.
Provides a date and time picker to set the end time for the live streaming.
Abandon all changes.
Delete this live streaming record.
Save all settings and complete the addition or editing.

Provides a detailed list of student attendance for a single live streaming event, allowing staff or live streaming teachers to track and manage students’ roll call status in real time.
Tabs at the top of the window allow staff to quickly view attendance based on students’ status:
All
: Shows all students assigned to participate in the live streaming.Checked-in
: Shows only students who have completed the check-in process.Not Checked-in
: Shows only students who have not yet checked in.A table details each student’s attendance and viewing record.
Serial number.
Displays the student’s name.
Displays the student’s account or student ID.
Records the actual total viewing time for the student in this live streaming event.
This is a manual operation field. To the right of each student, there is a green “Check-in” button, allowing teachers or staff to manually take attendance and complete the check-in process for students on-site. After check-in is completed, the platform records the exact date and time the student checked in.

All chatroom conversations in a live streaming event can be fully saved and displayed, allowing staff or teachers to review students’ questions and interactions at any time after the live streaming ends.

Provides detailed learning behavior data for all participating students in a single live streaming event. Compared to the “Roll Call List”, this record focuses more on quantifiable learning outcomes.
A date range picker is provided at the top, along with a search button. Staff can set a start and end date to query learning records within a specific time frame.
A table details each participant’s learning data.
Serial number.
Displays the student’s name.
Displays the student’s account or student ID.
Shows the user’s role on the platform.
Displays the exact date and time the student completed check-in.
The accumulated actual total viewing time for the student in this live streaming event, expressed as hh\:mm\:ss.
Records the total number of times the student entered the live streaming event. If the student leaves and comes back, the count increases.
A: Supports YouTube and Facebook embedded live streaming. For best stability and quality, YouTube is recommended.
A: Yes. If set to specific classes, students must log in and meet authorization criteria to watch.
A: When roll call is enabled, the system records the time students click “Check-in” and includes it in attendance statistics.
A: You can use YouTube DVR to automatically provide playback; there is no need to upload the recording separately.
A: No limit. Relying on YouTube’s streaming capability, a large number of simultaneous viewers can be supported.
A: The main function of the “Live Streaming Management” page is to centrally manage all created live streaming events, including ended, ongoing, or upcoming scheduled events, providing staff with a unified interface to overview and handle all live streaming matters.
A: In the “Live Streaming Management” interface, staff can use multiple conditions to filter or search for live streaming events. First, keywords can be entered in the Title field to search for event titles. Staff can also use the Class dropdown menu to filter events belonging to a specific class. In addition, the Status dropdown menu allows filtering by the live streaming’s status, with options including All
, Live Started
, Live Ended
, and Ended/Suspended
. After setting all filter criteria, staff can click the magnifying glass “Search” button to perform the search.
A: The “Live Streaming List” is presented in a table, detailing each event’s information and status. This includes the event’s image, title, and class. The list also shows the scheduled or actual live start and live end times; if the event has ended, an "Ended" label will be displayed below the end time. In addition, the list shows the status (published or hidden) with an icon, provides roll call statistics (number of checked-in and expected to check-in), and has a “Details” button to view the detailed roll call list. Staff or teachers can enter the event’s backend chatroom to monitor student interaction and click Live Learning Record to view detailed learning record reports for all students.
A: The “Add/Edit Live Streaming” interface allows staff to create or edit detailed information for live streaming events, covering settings and scheduling. Staff must enter a title (event name, limited to 20 characters), set the live end status to “Published” or “Disabled” (if published, the live streaming will remain published on the platform after ending), and enter the instructor’s name. The live streaming URL field is used to specify the source of the live stream, supporting embedded YouTube or Facebook live videos. Staff just need to paste the corresponding live streaming URL. The interface also allows uploading an image (cover or preview, recommended resolution 640x480 and less than 300k in size). Staff can also control whether to enable chatroom student speech, set viewing permission to determine who can join, and use date and time pickers to precisely set the live start and live end times.
A: The main purpose of the “Student Roll Call List” is to provide a detailed list of student attendance for a single live streaming event, allowing staff or live streaming teachers to track and manage student roll call status in real time. To help staff quickly view attendance, the top of the window has status filter tabs. These include: All
, to display all assigned students for the event; Checked-in
, to show only students who have completed check-in; and Not Checked-in
, to show only students who have not yet checked in.
A: In the “Student Roll Call List”, staff or teachers can easily manually check in students. To the right of each student in the list, there is a green “Check-in” button. This button allows teachers or staff to manually mark attendance on-site. After clicking this button to complete check-in, the platform automatically records the exact date and time the student checked in.
A: The backend “Chatroom” function allows staff or teachers to fully save and display all chatroom conversations for a live streaming event, while giving them multiple operation permissions. Staff or teachers can enter text in the text input box to send messages to students watching the live streaming, or click the “Select File” button to upload files for students (supports zip, xls, xlsx, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pdf formats), and use the “Send” button to send messages or files. All chat messages are displayed in chronological order as a timeline, including the speaker’s avatar, name, message date and time, and message content. More importantly, there is a “trash can” icon to the right of each message, giving staff permission to delete inappropriate or incorrect comments to maintain order in the chatroom.
A: The “Live Learning Record” provides all participating students’ detailed learning behavior data in a single live streaming event, focusing more on quantifiable learning outcomes than the “Roll Call List”. The learning record list is shown in a table for each participant, with data including the student’s name, account (student ID), role (shows user’s role on the platform), and the exact date and time of check-in. It also accumulates the total viewing time (in hh\:mm\:ss format) for each student in the event and records the number of times the student entered the event. If a student leaves and comes back, the count increases.
