Test Paper

Admin Area > Test Paper

This is the backend interface for staff to create, combine, and manage online quizzes or exams.

Provides multiple filter conditions, allowing staff to quickly find specific test papers by "class category", "test paper title" or "status".

Search Button

Magnifier icon button, used to execute search.

+Add

Click this button to create a brand new blank test paper.

Edit

After selecting "one" test paper in the list, click this button to enter edit mode and modify its questions, scoring or settings.

Publish

Publish the selected test paper. After setting, students can see and take the test during the specified period.

Hide

Take the selected test paper offline. Students will not be able to see or participate in this test, but the data will be retained in the backend.

Delete

Permanently delete the selected test paper.

Lists each established test paper in detail in tabular form.

Add Test Paper

Admin Area > Test Paper > Add

Page for setting the basic rules and attributes of a new test paper.

Title

Used to enter the name of this test paper, with the prompt *Limit to 30 Chinese characters below.

Class

Dropdown menu, used to set the class or main course category for this test paper.

Timer (Minutes)

A numeric input box to set the answer time limit for this test paper (in minutes). Leave blank for unlimited time.

Number of Attempts

Dropdown menu to limit how many times students can retake this test paper. Options range from 1 to 10 times.

Scoring Method

Dropdown menu to set the calculation method for the final score when multiple attempts are allowed. Options include:

Highest Score

Use the highest score among all attempts as the final grade.

Average Score

Use the average score of all attempts as the final grade.

First Attempt

Use the score of the first attempt as the final grade.

Last Attempt

Use the score of the last attempt as the final grade.

Passing Score

Set the passing standard for this test paper.

Publishing Period

Provides a date and time range picker, allowing staff to set the valid period during which students can access and answer this test paper.

Status

Set whether the test paper is published.

Description

Provides a text editor for staff to enter a preface, instructions, or notes for the test paper.

Abandon editing and close this window.

Save

Click to save the current rule settings.


Edit Test Paper

Select the test paper title to enter the editing page for settings.

General Information

  • If the test paper has not yet been approved and published, you can edit the basic information such as title, corresponding class, answer time, number of attempts, scoring method, passing score, and test paper description.
  • If the test paper has been approved and published, the above basic information can no longer be modified.

Permission Settings

Set the answer target for the test paper as needed. Permission options include:

  • No Restriction: All logged-in members can answer.
  • By Class: Students must watch the specified class video before they can answer.
  • By Course: Students must have watched at least 50% of all course videos before they can answer.
  • By Video: Students must have watched at least 50% of the specified video before they can answer.

Question Management

Three ways to create test content are provided:

1. Import Questions

  • Supports importing question files in XLS or CSV format.

    • XLS Format: Please download and use the provided XLS sample, edit with Office Excel 2003 format, then import.
    • CSV Format: You can export questions as CSV files and use them in other test papers, preserving the full structure and content.

2. Import from Question Bank

  • Select and import questions from the established question bank according to conditions.

3. Manually Add Questions

  • You can manually design questions, supporting single choice, true/false, and multiple choice questions, and set points per question and total questions.
  • Enter the question stem, options and answers, and other related information.

Test Paper Review

After completing the question settings, please check all question contents, and after confirming they are correct, click the "Approve" button. Note: Once the test paper is approved, all related questions and data cannot be modified, and students can start taking the test.


Edit Test Paper Permission

Admin Area > Test Paper > Edit > Permission

Rule Description

At the top of the interface, the system lists the three main types of question permissions, allowing staff flexible application:

  • No Restriction. Every logged-in member can take the test

  • By Class, students who have watched the class video can take the test

  • By Course, students who have completed at least half of all course videos can take the test

  • By Video, students who have completed at least half of all specified videos can take the test

Category

Permissions can be set by the category in the dropdown menu.

Class

Used to set the class to which this test paper belongs.

Save

Save the current settings to this test paper.


Edit Test Paper Questions

Admin Area > Test Paper > Edit > Questions

When staff create or edit a test paper, they will enter this "Questions" tab to manage question creation and scoring in detail.

Approve Here

Before publishing, there will be a button at the top of the interface for the final confirmation action before publishing.

Note: After clicking this button, students can start practicing the test paper, and the questions of this test paper cannot be changed anymore!

Method 1: File Import

Import file (XLS format) OR CSV, you can directly import pre-edited question files.

Clicking this button will open the file explorer, allowing administrators to select a pre-edited question file.

Method 2: Question Bank Selection

Staff can quickly filter out needed questions from the central question bank.

Can filter by county/city.

Year

Can filter by question year.

Can filter by semester.

Can filter by school type.

Grade

Can filter by grade.

Exam Category

Can filter by exam category.

Subject

Can filter by subject.

Keyword

Can further enter keywords to search.

Click this button to list all search results that match the filters.

Import

Click this button to import this question bank into the test paper.

Method 3: Manually Add Questions

The platform provides another fast way to add questions, allowing staff to set a question type and batch generate the specified number of blank question editing blocks.

Select the question type from the dropdown menu, such as:

  • True/False

  • Single Choice

  • Multiple Choice

Points Per Question

Set the points for each batch-added question.

Number of Questions

Set how many questions to add at once.

Add

Button, click to generate the corresponding number of blank question editing blocks below.

Question Editing

The main question editing area, each question is an independent card.

Question Number and Points

Question number, with a trash can icon beside it to delete the question, and a numeric input box to adjust the points for the question.

Question Content

Provides a text editor for staff to enter the question, or insert images.

Option Editing:

Label different options with (A), (B), (C)... Each option is also a text editor, where you can enter text or insert images. For single choice, each option has a radio button in front; clicking one sets it as the correct answer for the question. For multiple choice, each option has a checkbox in front; checking makes the option an answer. For true/false, there is a slider before the question to set it as O or X.


Grading

Admin Area > Grading

Filter by specific conditions (such as date, class, test paper title, student account, etc.) to view details of students' test answers. The filter results will display the following information:

  • Answer content
  • Number of attempts
  • Scoring method
  • Score/Total Score
  • Submission time
  • Pass status
