System Management

Management Section > System Management

System management is a core backend feature of the LOL Learning Online Platform, enabling administrators to adjust and configure the overall operation of the platform. Whether it is the image slider on the website homepage, student registration methods, notification push, video uploading and transcoding, or points and payment settings, all can be accomplished here.


Homepage Slider Management

Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider
  • Feature Path: Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider
  • Used to set homepage images and links for display, increasing student click-through rates
  • Supports various styles (such as animation, video backgrounds)
  • Applicable scenarios: promote new courses, event news, or important announcements

New Layout Banner Settings

Here is a detailed explanation of the complete settings for the new layout banner (Slider), using the Layer layout as an example, helping you easily create a more attractive website homepage.

Step 1: Select Layout

  1. Log in to the Management Section.

  2. Click Settings > Homepage Layout Style & Homepage Slider.

  3. Choose the layout according to the following options:

    • Homepage Style: style3
    • Header Style: Header3
    • Slider Type: Layer-Slider

After completing the settings above, please check for correctness and save.

Step 2: Add Banner

  1. Click Homepage Slider, then click Add.
  2. When adding, the system will display a setting form. Fill in the relevant content as needed.

Step 3: Select Layer Layout

The system provides up to five banner styles, each with different visual characteristics. Here, the Layer layout is explained in detail.

  • When selecting a layout, please click Layer in the list.

Step 4: Configure Layer Layout Banner

  • The Layer layout allows unlimited addition of dynamic banners, displayed via carousel. It is recommended to set at least two or more banners for richer visual effects and more dynamism.
  • Each banner can choose different Style layouts to show diverse visual effects and variation. For detailed differences between styles, see below.
  • Background Image: recommended size 1920 x 700
  • Foreground Product Image: recommended size 300 x 600

Note: The above sizes are for reference only. Actual size can be adjusted according to your background design and overall coordination.

Layer-Style Layout Detailed Description

The Layer layout offers three different Styles, each with specific arrangements and effects as follows:

Style 1

  • Product Image Position: bottom right of the screen
  • Text Description Position: left side of the screen, up to 3 descriptions
  • Link Button: you can add a URL link button below the text description to increase user interaction.

Style 2

  • Product Image Position: left side of the screen
  • Text Description Position: center-right of the screen, up to 3 descriptions
  • Link Button: add a URL link button below the text description to guide users to further actions.

Style 3

  • Product Image Position: right side of the screen
  • Text Description Position: center-left of the screen, up to 5 descriptions
  • Link Button: add a URL link button below the text description to enhance click interaction.

Complete Banner Setting

  • After finishing one banner, click Add to continue adding more banners, enriching the website homepage display.
  • It is recommended to add at least 2 or more banners to create dynamic and rich visual appeal through the carousel effect.

Adjust Banner Order

If you are dissatisfied with the playback order of banners or need to adjust the visual sequence, follow the steps below:

  • Click the Sort feature and drag to quickly adjust banner order.

Troubleshooting

  • If the banner does not display properly, ensure the image meets the recommended size and format.
  • If the carousel does not start, check that at least two banners are set.
  • If the link button is not clickable, ensure the URL is correctly filled.

Homepage Slider

Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider

This interface uses a list to centrally manage all images or interactive banners that have been uploaded and can be used for the homepage carousel.

Dropdown menu for filtering different types of Sliders. Includes Layer-Slider, Interactive-Slider(single), Banner-Slider, Master-Slider, Youtube Video(single).

Status

Dropdown menu for filtering the publication status of carousels. Options include All, Published, Hidden/Disabled.

Search Button

Magnifier icon button used to perform a search.

Add

Create a brand-new homepage slider.

Edit

Edit the selected carousel item.

Delete

Delete the selected carousel item.

Sort

Manually adjust the display order of carousel images on the frontend.

In table format, lists details for each carousel item.

Category

Shows the carousel's technical type with different color tags.

Image

Displays a preview image of the carousel.

Subject / SubStyle

Displays the title and subtitle or style of the carousel.

Start Date

Start date for the carousel's display on the frontend.

End Date

End date for the carousel's display on the frontend.

Status

Shows the carousel's enabled status as an icon.


Select Slider Type

Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider > Add

Before staff create a new homepage slider, they must first decide which technical type of slider to use. Different types correspond to different visual effects and functions.

Slider Type Options

The window provides five different professional slider type buttons, each representing a different application.

Layer

Clicking this button enters the "Layered Slider" editor. You can upload a background image and a product image (foreground object) separately, and set up to three sets of text descriptions and one clickable button.

Interactive

Clicking this button enters the "Interactive Slider" editor. This interface allows uploading up to six background images and setting up multiple text groups and two independent buttons for a more engaging experience.

Clicking this button enters the simplest and most basic "Static Banner" editor. Just upload one image, add a title, description, and up to two buttons. This is the fastest and most direct way to make an ad banner, ideal for daily event announcements and course promotions.

Master

Clicking this button enters another "Layered Slider" editor, also providing separate settings for background, foreground, multiple texts, and buttons.

Youtube

Clicking this button enters an editor specifically for embedding YouTube videos. No image upload is required, just paste the YouTube video URL, and set the title, description, and buttons to overlay on the video. This method can easily use high-quality dynamic video as the homepage visual, suitable for showing course highlights, promo videos, or event records.


Add Homepage Slider (Layer-Slider)

Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider > Add > Layer

This form lets staff upload both a "background image" and "product image," and set up multiple title layers and buttons, creating a layered carousel visual.

Style Selection

The top provides three preset style tabs, indicating several built-in layer arrangements or animation styles for staff to select as needed.

Background Image

For uploading the background image, format restricted to *Resolution 1920x700, Size < 800K.

Product Image

For uploading the foreground object to overlay on the background, e.g., product photo, person, etc. Format restricted to *Resolution 300x600, Size < 200K.

Text Layer Settings

Multiple fields to overlay text titles in different positions, each with a 20-character limit.

Button Name

Sets the text shown on the button.

Sets the link to go to when the button is clicked.

Add Homepage Slider (Interactive-Slider)

Management Section > System Management > Homepage Slider > Add > Interactive

This form lets staff upload multiple background images and set up multiple text and button groups for a carousel with special interactive effects.

Multiple Background Image Settings

Provides six independent background image upload fields, each restricted to *Resolution 1920x1080, Size < 800K.

Leading Text

Text shown at the top or in front.

Title

The main title of the carousel.

Description

Carousel description text.

Button Settings

This interface provides two independent button settings, allowing up to 2 clickable buttons on the screen, each with a configurable link.

Publication Period

Sets the on/off display dates for the carousel.

Cancel

Abandon all settings.

Save

Save all settings.


Add Homepage Slider (Banner-Slider)

This form lets staff upload a single image and add a title, description, and buttons, forming a standard single-image carousel banner.

Background Image

Only one image upload field, for uploading the carousel image. Format restricted to *Resolution 1920x700, Size < 800K.

Basic Settings Guide

After entering the system management backend, you can configure the following features on the "Basic Settings" page for a better user experience.

Default Language

Management Section > System Management > Settings > Basic Settings > Default Language

Click the language selection dropdown, and choose the appropriate default language for your platform users, e.g., Traditional Chinese, English, Simplified Chinese, or Vietnamese. After selection, click the "Modify" button to apply the setting. The frontend will update for users immediately.

Reminder! Users can also switch the interface language themselves.

Homepage Layout Style

Management Section > System Management > Settings > Basic Settings > Homepage Layout Style

Select the suitable homepage layout according to your website theme and needs, including:

  • Style: System offers various styles, including Default and Style1 through Style8, for flexible adjustment based on the website theme, events, or seasons.
  • Color: Choose from several color schemes to quickly change the overall website tone for enhanced visual appeal.
  • ToolBar: Set the toolbar's display mode, with default and Header1 to Header8 styles.
  • Theme Skins: Offers Light and Dark modes.
  • Layout Styles: Wide and Boxed options for different use cases and design needs.

Click the "Modify" button after each change to save and apply the new settings.

Homepage Slider (Dynamic Banner)

Management Section > System Management > Settings > Basic Settings > Homepage Slider

Choose from various homepage dynamic banner styles, including Layer-Slider, Interactive-Slider(single), Banner-Slider, Master-Slider, and Youtube Video(single) to enhance homepage visuals and user interaction. Click "Modify" to save.

For Visitors and Not-Logged-In Users

Show Purchase Options: Enable to allow visitors and non-logged-in users to see and buy relevant courses, increasing conversion rates. Click "Modify" to change.

Show Only Classes with Free Trials: Enable to show only classes with trial lessons for visitors. Click "Modify" to adjust.

Online Customer Service Module

Click "Modify" to configure the online customer service system, including:

  • Module Status: Enable or disable the customer service module.
  • Website ID: Enter your site ID from Tawk.to.
  • API Key: Enter the Tawk.to authentication key.
  • Direct Chat Link: Enter Tawk.to's Direct Chat Link.
  • If you have not registered, the system provides a link to the official site for registration.

Student Registration Settings and Social Media Integration

Member Registration Points and SMS Verification

After successful registration, the system can be set to automatically award points as a member incentive. SMS verification can also be enabled for account security.

  • Assign to Classes: Admins can select classes for automatic assignment after registration.

  • Bonus Points: Set the number of points given to new members.

  • SMS Verification: When enabled, the system sends an SMS verification code for mobile number authentication.

    • If SMS point balance is insufficient, click "Buy SMS Points Online" to top up.

Social Login Integration Settings

Integrate with major social platforms for quick, convenient login, lowering barriers and improving satisfaction.

In-System Social Login Setup

  • APP ID: Enter your platform's app ID.
  • APP SECRET: Enter the platform's app secret.
  • admin ID: Set the platform's admin account or ID.
  • After setting, click "Save" to update.

Facebook Login Setup

  1. Log in to Facebook Developer Platform, select "My Apps" > "Add a New App".

  2. Select "Website" as platform, create the app, enter a recognizable name.

  3. Set app domain to your platform URL, e.g., a123.itraining.tw.

  4. Enter website URL: https://a123.itraining.tw.

  5. In the app's "Settings", enter Contact Email.

  6. Enter privacy policy and terms of service URLs.

  7. Set API and OAuth logins to ON, embedded browser OAuth and device login to OFF.

Website Info Settings

  • Website Name: Enter the site name here. Recommended to be recognizable and descriptive, e.g., "Cloud Technology Learning Platform". The name is used as the site title and SEO index.
  • Site URL: Enter the complete site URL, including "http\://" or "https\://". Test the link after setting.

Google Service Settings

Google Analytics Tracking Code (GTM): Fill in your GTM tracking code, e.g., "G-123456789". Ensure accuracy for correct analytics data.

Social Media Settings

Click and check icons for social platforms to enable their link features for better engagement.

Google Play and App Store: Enter the app download links, either manually or via QRCode.

SEO Settings

  • Search Engine | Site Description: Enter up to 120 characters for SEO-optimized site description, e.g., "LOL Cloud Platform, provides efficient and stable cloud learning services, supporting diverse course management and online exams".

Homepage Visual Settings

  • Click "Choose File" to upload the site logo, recommended 280 pixels. This logo will display on all site pages.

Site Icon (Favicon)

  • Click "Choose File" to upload the favicon, recommended size not over 196x196 pixels, PNG only. Shown in browser tabs.

Homepage Banner

  • Click "Choose File" to upload the homepage banner, suggested size 1000x400px, file size under 5MB. Image should be appealing and relevant.
  • After upload, to change or remove the image, click the trash icon to delete.
  • Set the target URL for the banner. Must include "http\://" or "https\://".

Contact Info

  • Customer Service Line, Fax: Enter service phone and fax numbers.
  • Feedback Email: Enter the dedicated email for customer feedback.
  • Contact Address: Enter the real address to increase trust.

Policy and Terms Settings

Privacy Policy

Clearly explain how user data is collected, processed, and protected, including technical methods (IP, Cookies), purposes (market analysis, user experience improvement), and third-party sharing.

Clearly state ownership and usage rules for all site content. Strictly forbid unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or public transmission.

Terms of Service

Clearly define service usage, content rules, external link policy, and disclaimers.

Personal Data Protection

Detail security measures for personal data, including collection, processing, usage, and prevention of unauthorized third-party access.

After all settings, click "Save" at the bottom to apply changes immediately.


Notification Settings

This feature allows setting the email address for receiving inquiry notifications (e.g., online registration emails).

Steps

1. Edit Inquiry Email

  1. Go to "Notification Settings".
  2. Click the "Edit" button.

2. Enter Email Address

  1. In the popup window, enter the email address for notifications.
  2. After entering, click "Confirm" at the lower right.

3. Cancel Edit

If you want to cancel, click "Cancel" at the lower right. The system will not save the change.

After these steps, the system will use your specified email to send notifications. Please ensure accuracy.


FTP Upload Video

On this page, you can use FTP to quickly upload videos to the platform.

Steps

  1. Download Tool

    • Click [Download UL Software] to download the FTP upload tool.
  2. Check Storage

    • The page displays your available storage, e.g., 300 GB.
    • Total video size must not exceed this to avoid upload failures.
  3. FTP Account Management

    • Shows your FTP account, e.g., a123.
    • To change the password or other info, click [Edit].

Notes

  • Ensure FTP connection is stable before uploading.
  • Do not use the same FTP account on multiple devices to avoid account lock.

Online Credit Card Settings

  • Integrate NewebPay, Spgateway, ECPay, etc.
  • Set storage rules and notification for successful payments

Credit Card Gateway Settings

Multiple credit card gateway integration options, fill in merchant ID, HashKey, HashIV as required.

Payment Method Settings

Set various payment methods: credit card one-time, reward points, UnionPay, installment, web ATM, ATM, bank counter, and convenience store payments.

Order Notification Settings

Set up email and phone notifications for order creation, payment, and refund.

Purchase Notice

Detailed buying instructions, payment and refund rules, and FAQs.


SMS Settings

  • Set SMS account and password, default message format, and send limit
  • For emergency notifications or registration confirmation

Compression and Transcoding Settings

"Compression and Transcoding Settings" provide video upload auto-transcoding and compression options, allowing flexible adjustment of watermark, bit rate, raw video handling, and mobile video resolution.

Steps

1. Watermark Setting

Enable watermark for transcoding:

  • Set the switch to "On".
  • System applies the watermark at each transcoding.
  • Click "Choose File" to upload the watermark image.
  • To change, click "Edit" to upload a new image.

2. Video Bit Rate Setting

Set the video compression bit rate:

  • Three combinations provided:

    • 1.0Mbps (video) + 0.1Mbps (audio)
    • 1.5Mbps (video) + 0.1Mbps (audio)
    • 2.0Mbps (video) + 0.1Mbps (audio)
  • Select the desired bit rate and click "Edit" to confirm.

3. Raw Video Handling

Options for raw video after transcoding:

  • Choose to retain or delete original video.
  • Click "Edit" to save.

4. Mobile Video Setting

Enable generation of videos for mobile devices:

  • Set to "On" to generate extra videos optimized for phones/tablets.

  • Four resolution options:

    • HD 1920x1080 (1000kbps)
    • HD 1280x720 (800kbps)
    • VGA 640x480 (512kbps)
    • CIF 352x240 (256kbps)
  • Select the desired resolution and click "Edit".

After all settings, you can upload videos. The system processes them according to your parameters for optimal quality and storage. Review and adjust settings as needed.


Points Settings

Set the rules for point deduction for video viewing in the system.

1. Default Deduction for Unset Videos

Set default point deduction for videos without specific rules.

  • Video length less than:

    • Set the default points to deduct for videos under a certain length.
    • Example: if set to less than 60 minutes, deduct 1 point per video.
    • Applies to most short videos for quick setup.
  • For videos longer, add points every N minutes:

    • For videos over a certain length, set additional points per extra time.
    • Example: for length over 120 minutes, system deducts extra points for each extra 120 minutes, default is 0 points.
    • For long videos, saves admin time.

After setting, click "Edit" to save and apply.

2. No Repeat Deduction

Set the time range for no repeat point deduction when rewatching.

  • After deduction, for X time, no repeat deduction:

    • Select from dropdown:

      • Short-term: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours
      • Mid-term: 24 hours (1 day), 48 hours (2 days), 72 hours (3 days), 96 hours (4 days), 120 hours (5 days), 144 hours (6 days), 168 hours (7 days)
      • Long-term: 480 hours (20 days), 600 hours (25 days), 720 hours (30 days), 1440 hours (60 days), 2160 hours (90 days), 4320 hours (180 days)
      • Extra long: 8760 hours (1 year), 17520 hours (2 years)
    • Suitable for courses needing repeat viewing.

  • Click "Edit" to save.

Notes

  • After each setting, click "Edit" to save. Unsaved settings will not take effect.
  • Adjustments are allowed, but frequent changes are not recommended to avoid confusion.
  • Regularly review settings to meet updated needs.

Online Renewal/Purchase Records

This interface shows all online credit card transaction records in a list.
